Humbled by the beauty among ashes

Coming from the background of a low income family in my younger days, I understand the struggles of those who are oppressed by society, finances and systems. You did not hear me wrongly. There are low income families in Singapore. Or at least there are those who are in need but does not know where and how to get help. Even if they do, help doesn't come easy. There are even those who have nowhere to seek help, in a system that ostracize them.

I never expected to be able to travel when I grow up and being able to capture images that stirs me up. I am not well travelled but at least I get out of this country at least once a year for some fresh air.  This blog uses mainly self-taken photos and editorials to tell of my past and present, issues of society I am concerned about, my love for photography etc etc. 

Please, take off your mask of judgment as you read on for I am just human like any of you.
